Community College Enrollments

Are you an 11th or 12th-grade student interested in taking a community college course while enrolled at Mt. Everest? Many classes are offered for dual credit, where students can meet high school graduation requirements while earning college credit. Here is the Dual Credit College Course list (also here). These courses can count toward your high school graduation requirements while earning college credit.

Here are the steps to register for a class. Please follow this tutorial to register for the first timeWe offer six ACP classes (Math 150, 151, 254, 245, Poli Sci 101, and C1000). All other courses are offered as concurrent enrollment.

If you are enrolled concurrently in a community college class at City, Mesa, or Miramar that is NOT through us, please complete this form so I can put it on your schedule. Do not complete this form until you are sure you are enrolled in the class, as stated in your mySDCCD portal. This does not include ACP courses (Math 150, 254, Poli Sci 101), as they are already on your schedule. This allows the grade to transfer automatically and avoids you having to request an official transcript later. If you do not complete this, you will need to request that the college send us an official transcript, which may incur a fee. This should be completed after you have begun your college class and you are sure you are enrolled.

You will know this has been processed when the course appears on your PowerSchool schedule. If the course is not on this list, it cannot be added to your transcript.

Students
enrolled in, or interested in enrolling in, community college courses should read the 2025-2026 CCAP/ACP Digital Notebook for enrollment information, guidance on accessing your SDCCD accounts, and best practices for college success.

If you have any questions or need more information about dual credit courses, please contact Mr. Rubin at [email protected].
